Super Store

Started at Punjabi Market, right across from the Kotwali here in Bareilly. Plot 144 is where we spend most of our time. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the market gets crowded. People are always walking by. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The building is just an ordinary one, nothing special to look at, but it does the job. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We open the shutters, sweep the front, and get things ready. Being opposite the police station means there's always something happening outside, like sirens or just people coming and going. Sometimes it’s loud, but you get used to it. Inside, we have our shelves set up. It’s not the biggest place, but we make use of the space we have on the plot. We don't really do much advertising. People just know where we are because they’ve been coming here for years. It gets dusty because of the road, so there’s always cleaning to do. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks. It’s a simple life running a store in this part of town. We see the same faces every week, and that’s how it goes. The sign outside is a bit old now, but everyone knows it’s us. We just focus on keeping things moving and making sure the inventory is where it should be.
