Shoe Point

If you're walking through Butler Plaza in Civil Line, you’ve probably seen our shop. Shoe Point is right there at E-17. It’s a busy part of Bareilly and there is always something happening outside. We spend most of our time helping people find a pair of shoes that actually fits their feet. It sounds simple but it can take a lot of time. Some days the shop is packed and we’re jumping between three different customers, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually sit down for a minute. We’ve got stacks of boxes everywhere because we try to keep enough stock on hand. The lighting in the shop isn't perfect, and the floor gets a bit scuffed from everyone walking in and out, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been here long enough that we know many of the faces that pass by. It’s not a corporate chain store with a million rules. It’s just Shoe Point. We handle the sales, we clean the windows, and we try to make sure nobody leaves with shoes that pinch their toes. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer months in Bareilly but we have a small fan that does the job. Just a regular shoe shop in a regular part of town, making sure people have something decent to wear on their feet while they go about their business.
