Raza Book Depot

Our shop, Raza Book Depot, is tucked away in the Old City area, right near Sailani Market. It’s a spot that’s always full of people looking for something to read or school supplies for their kids. We keep a lot of different books on the shelves, from old novels to the latest school guides. The shop is a bit cluttered because we hate throwing anything away, so you might find stacks of magazines from three years ago in the corner. We spend most of our time behind the counter, helping people find a specific title or sharpening pencils for the neighborhood children. It’s a very local kind of place. We don’t have a fancy computer system to track everything; we mostly just remember where things are. The market nearby is always loud, and on hot days, we keep the fan running at full speed just to stay cool. People come here not just to buy books but often just to stand and chat for a bit about what’s happening in the city. We’ve seen many shops around us change hands, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a simple business, selling paper and ink to people who still like the feel of a real book in their hands. We don't plan on changing much, as long as people still need a place to find their stories.
