Shiv Foam House

Shiv Foam House is right there at the Sood Dharamkanta Chowraha in Prem Nagar. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic never really seems to let up. We spend a lot of our day listening to the sound of vehicles passing by. The shop itself is filled with all kinds of foam and padding. It’s stacked up high against the walls, sometimes nearly reaching the ceiling fans. It makes the whole place feel a bit smaller than it actually is. There’s a specific smell to the material, sort of clean and industrial at the same time. We don't have a fancy counter to serve people. Usually, we just move a couple of bundles out of the way so there’s a place to stand. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. We have an old radio that stays tuned to the local station, mostly just for background noise. We don’t do any advertising or social media stuff. Most of our customers are people from around Prem Nagar who have seen us here for years. We just take life one day at a time. If the weather is nice, we sit on a couple of stools near the front door and watch the chaos at the chowraha. It’s a good place to be if you like seeing people. We don't have any big corporate dreams. We just want to keep the shop running and do a decent job.
