Ajay Pratima Hospital

Our hospital is over in Brijlok Colony, near the Dharam Kanta at number 57. It’s a quiet enough street, which is good for the patients. We aren't one of those massive hospitals with thousands of beds. We’re smaller, more local. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen all sorts of people walk through the doors. Some are worried, some are relieved, and we just try to be there for them. The building is older, but we keep it clean. We have a few benches outside where people sit and wait. It’s not a fancy place with art on the walls. It’s a practical building meant for healing. The doctors and nurses here are just regular folks who worked hard to learn their trade. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on what’s wrong and how to fix it. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded, and the fans have to work extra hard. We know most of the people in the colony by their first names. It makes a difference when you’re feeling sick to see a face you recognize. We just keep doing our work, day in and day out. We aren't looking for awards or anything like that. We just want to make sure the people in our neighborhood have a place to go when they aren't feeling well. It is just about being a reliable neighbor.
