Paramount School

Paramount School is right in the heart of the Old City in Bareilly, specifically in Gher Jafar Khan. Because it’s in the old part of town, the streets around us are quite narrow and always full of life. The building itself is an older one, tucked in among the houses and shops. It’s not a massive campus with fields, but we use every room we have for the students. You can hear the sounds of the market and the neighbors while you’re in the classrooms. It gives the place a very local, connected feel. Most of the children who come here are from the immediate neighborhood, so their families are well known to us. The entrance is a simple door off the street that leads into the main hallway. We have basic classrooms with benches and boards. It’s often a bit loud because of the location, but that’s just part of being in the city. The teachers are mostly people who have lived in Bareilly their whole lives. We don’t have flashy signs or big advertisements. We just open up in the morning, do the lessons, and close when the day is done. It’s a practical school for the local community. The walls have been painted a few times over the years, and there are always little repairs to be made here and there.
