Pairahan Boutique

We have been at 146-A for a good while now. Civil Lines is usually busy, so there is always something going on outside our door. Most days start with opening up the shutters and getting the dust off the racks. It is a small space but we make it work. Usually, we are just sorting through the new arrivals or helping someone find a specific size. The light comes in through the front window in the afternoon which makes it quite warm inside. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just the clothes and some mirrors. It’s mostly locals who stop by while they are out doing their other errands. We keep things pretty simple here. Most of the time is spent just organizing the shelves or fixing the displays. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once. The floor is old but we keep it clean. People know us by the sign out front. It’s nothing too special, just a regular boutique where we do our daily work. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of fabric get a bit out of hand during the busy weeks. That is just how it goes in a place like this. We are usually here until the sun goes down and the street lights come on in Civil Lines.
