Down in Dunka, Meerganj, you will find us at Newfarm Agritech Private Limited. This is a rural spot, and the pace of life is definitely slower than what you find in the bigger cities. We focus on agritech, trying to bring some newer ideas to the local farmers who have been doing things the same way for generations. Our office is simple, mostly just some chairs and a big table where we spread out our plans. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. Most of the time we are in boots because we’ve been out in the fields checking on things. Meerganj is a close-knit community, so everyone knows who we are and what we are doing. We often have farmers dropping by just to say hello or to ask a quick question about their soil. We don't mind the interruptions at all. It’s why we are here. The building itself is old and has a bit of character, maybe even a few leaks when it pours, but we fix things as we go. We aren’t trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to do good work that helps the people around here. Some days the heat is really tough, but we just drink some cold water and keep moving. It’s honest work and we are proud to be in Dunka, doing what we can for the local land.
