About National Engineering Academy – Education in Bareilly
We’ve been running the National Engineering Academy in Bareilly for quite a few years now. It started in a small room with just a few benches. Now we have a bit more space, but it still feels like those early days. The walls are covered in old posters and diagrams. Students come in here looking tired after their regular college classes. We try to make sense of the difficult subjects for them. It’s not about being a big university; it’s just us helping people pass their exams and understand the math. The desks are a bit scratched up. We usually have tea brewing in the back for the staff. It gets loud when the batches change over and everyone is moving in the hallways. I spend a lot of time fixing the projector or making sure there’s enough chalk. We don't have a big reception area with a fancy desk. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us in a classroom. Bareilly has changed a lot, but our routine stays the same. We open early and stay until the last student leaves. It's a lot of paper and ink. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise, but we’re used to it. We just want the kids to learn what they need to know for their future. It’s practical work. No big speeches, just lessons and practice. We are just here doing our bit for the local students every single day.
