Being over here in Bareilly at KAMAKHYAINFRA ENGINEERS PRIVATE LIMITED feels different from those big city offices. We are located at 44 A in the Railway Officer Colony on Road Number 07. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main market, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on engineering drawings. The office is really just a place where we keep our tools and all the project folders. Sometimes it gets quite dusty because of the wind coming through, but we try to keep it tidy enough. There’s a big wooden table in the middle where we spread out maps and plans. We spend a lot of time talking about site visits and what needs to happen next on various jobs. It’s not always organized perfectly; you might find a hard hat sitting on a stack of invoices. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day, usually brought in from the stall down the road. Our team is small, and we’ve known each other for years, so there’s no need for formal talk. We just get in, do the work, and head home. It's practical work, really. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for the backup to kick in, but that’s just life in Uttar Pradesh. We aren't a corporate giant, just some engineers and staff working out of a residential colony, trying to do things right without making a big fuss.
