Ikram Baba Foundation

Ikram Baba Foundation is located in a village called Gaimau. It’s in the Musafir Khana area. This is not the kind of place where you’ll find big office blocks or paved sidewalks everywhere. We are right in the heart of the village, and our mail comes through the local post office here. The atmosphere is very quiet, mostly just the sounds of the countryside. We have a small building that serves as our home base. It’s got thick walls to keep the heat out and a simple tin roof in one part. Inside, we have a few old wooden benches and a desk that has seen better days. We don't use much technology, mostly just pen and paper and the occasional mobile phone. People from the village often stop by just to say hello or ask a question. We usually have a pot of tea going. The life here is tied to the seasons. When it's harvest time, things get a bit quieter as everyone is out in the fields. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just exist here in Gaimau to do what needs to be done. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We know everyone’s name and they know ours. It feels more like a community spot than a formal foundation office. That’s just the way things are in Musafir Khana.
