Hanuman Rice & General Mill

We have been running this mill for a long time now. It is located right here in Lakdi Mandi, which is very close to the Roadways bus stand. You can see the buses coming and going all day while we work with the grain. It gets quite dusty inside when the machines are going full speed, but that is just how it is in a mill. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot because once the afternoon hits, the heat inside the building is quite a lot to handle. We have the usual machines for hulling and cleaning the rice. Sometimes the farmers bring their tractors and we have to wait for them to unload everything into the back area. It is a loud place with all the belts spinning and the metal parts clanking together. People from the nearby villages know where to find us. We don't have any big signs or anything fancy out front. It is just an old building with a lot of sacks piled up everywhere. My workers usually take a break around noon to sit in the shade and have some tea from the stall down the road. It isn't a quiet job but it keeps us busy through the year. Sometimes the electricity goes out and then we just have to sit and wait for it to come back on before we can finish the batch. That is just how things go around here.
