Govind Ram Kumar Dall Mill

Our mill is located in the village of Kareli right by the post office in the Bareilly area. It is near the Shyam Ganj Chouraha so it is easy to find if you are coming from the main road. We handle a lot of different pulses and lentils throughout the year. The building is an old structure that has seen a lot of work over the decades. It gets very loud when the machines are running and you have to shout to be heard over the noise of the processing equipment. We are not a big company with a board of directors or anything like that. It is just a family-run operation where everyone knows their job and gets on with it. We spend a lot of time hauling heavy sacks around and making sure the storage area is dry. The work is physically hard and we are usually pretty tired by the time we close the gates at night. We do not use any fancy jargon or try to impress anyone with marketing. Most of our business comes from long-time customers who trust us because they know how we work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get the grain dried properly and we just have to deal with those challenges as they come. It is just a normal mill doing normal work every day. We are happy to be a part of the local community here in Kalidari.
