Ganga Sheel Hospital

Working at Ganga Sheel Hospital here in Bareilly keeps us pretty busy. We don’t have a fancy street name to give out, everyone just knows where we are in the city. It’s a large enough place that you can’t really miss it. Every day is different. Some mornings it’s quiet and we can actually hear ourselves think, but then a bus arrives or a lot of families show up at once and it gets loud. We don't have a big corporate office telling us what to say. We just work here. The rooms are basic, and we try to keep the fans and lights working properly. It’s an old-fashioned kind of care where we know a lot of the people who come in. Bareilly is a place where word of mouth matters more than a website anyway. We spend a lot of time on our feet, walking the halls and checking on things. There is always a smell of floor cleaner and medicine in the air, which is what you expect. We have a small canteen area where we grab tea when there's a break. The staff are just regular folks from around town who need a job and like helping their neighbors. We don’t use fancy slogans. If someone is sick, they come here, we look at them, and we try to help. That’s the whole story of this hospital.
