First Step School

We've been here on Madinath Road for a while now. Most people in Bareilly know where 121 is. It's just a school where kids come to start their learning. We have classrooms and a bit of space for them to play. It gets noisy sometimes when the bell rings and everyone runs out. We try to keep things organized but you know how it is with young children. Some of the desks have been around for years. We make sure the teachers are here on time. The building is right there on the main road, so it's easy to find. Parents stop by to chat or ask about their kids. We don't have anything fancy, just the basics for a school. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky tap or paint a wall. It’s just daily life here at First Step School. We see the kids grow up and move on to bigger schools later. It feels good when they come back to visit as teenagers. The neighbors know us well. We keep the gates shut during class hours so nobody wanders off. On rainy days, the porch gets a bit muddy. We just mop it up and keep going. It’s a busy place from morning till afternoon. We’re just a local school trying to do our job in Madinath. Nothing more to it really. We focus on the kids being here and learning their ABCs and numbers. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do every day.
