Royal Engineers

You’ll find Royal Engineers out on Bisalpur Road, right near Fatima Hospital. It’s more of a workshop than an office. We do a lot of mechanical and fabrication work here. There’s usually the sound of welding or machines running throughout the day. It’s a greasy, hands-on kind of place. We take on all sorts of jobs, from fixing broken parts to making new pieces from scratch. It’s not the kind of work you can do in a clean suit. We spend most of our time in overalls with tools in our hands. People bring us their equipment when it breaks down, and we figure out a way to get it working again. The yard is often full of scrap metal and old machines waiting for their turn. Bisalpur Road is quite a main stretch, so getting materials delivered isn't too hard. We aren't into big fancy advertisements. Most people find out about us because they saw the sign or someone told them we could fix their stuff. It’s a small team here. We just focus on the task in front of us. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to work in the open parts of the shop, but we manage. It’s a basic, functional engineering shop where we value getting the job done right.
