About Bharat Chemical Works – Agriculture & Farming in Bareilly
Down at Bda Bazar, it’s always a bit of a scramble. We are at number 46 on KS Road. It’s a busy spot with people shouting and carts moving all the time. Our place smells like chemicals, which I suppose is to be expected. We have barrels stacked up and bags of raw materials everywhere. It’s an old building, so the walls are a bit stained, but it serves our purpose. We spend the morning checking the inventory and filling containers. It’s messy work. You have to be careful where you step. My cousin handles the billing while I look after the mixing and the workers. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know where we are. They come by when they need something for their own shops or factories. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. The ceiling fan wobbles a lot, and the floor is cracked in the corner, but it’s our space. We work hard, and we don't worry too much about the small stuff. Sometimes the rain leaks in through the front door, so we have to move the stock back. It’s just part of life here in the market. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all over again the next day.
