Bareilly Account Centre

If you know where Ajanta Sweets is in Kalibari, then you know exactly where we are. We’re right above the sweet shop in building number 126. It’s actually a pretty good landmark because everyone in Bareilly seems to know that spot. Being right there means we always have the smell of fresh snacks coming up, which is nice but also makes us hungry during the workday. Our office is a practical space. We call ourselves the Bareilly Account Centre because that is exactly what we do—we handle accounts. There are no fancy decorations or big mahogany desks here. It’s mostly just us, our computers, and stacks of ledger books. People come in from the Kalibari area and other parts of town to get their taxes sorted or their books balanced. We try to be helpful and just explain things clearly. If someone has a mess of receipts, we sit down and go through them one by one. It’s slow work sometimes, but it’s what we do. The stairs up to the office can be a bit steep, but once you’re here, it’s a calm place to get things organized. We’ve been at this for a while and we know how the local systems work. We just keep our heads down and do the filing. It’s honest work and it keeps the local shops running right.
