Bharat Contractors

Our office is over at No:830 Bankhana. Bharat Contractors is what we call ourselves, but mostly it's just me and the crew out on job sites. We do building work, repairs, and whatever else needs fixing around here. It's a loud business with all the hammers and machines. My desk is usually covered in drawings and dusty boots. We started out small, just doing odd jobs for neighbors, and then it grew a bit. We don't have any big corporate offices or anything. Just the place in Bankhana where we keep the tools and the trucks. Sometimes the weather stops us from working, which is frustrating for everyone. We try to be fair with how we do things. It's not always easy, especially when materials get expensive or a truck breaks down on the way to a site. We've built houses and some small shops in the area. You can see our work if you walk around the neighborhood. We don't do much talking; we just get to the work and try to finish it so we can move to the next one. It’s a lot of physical labor, and we’re usually pretty tired by the time evening rolls around. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now. We just take one job at a time and do it right so the roof doesn't leak later on. It’s a tough way to earn a living but we’re used to it.
