Out on Easagarh Road, things are a bit different than in the middle of a big city. We have our shop here where we keep a variety of spare parts for whatever drives past. It’s a bit of a dusty road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass on the display cases, though the dust usually wins by the afternoon. We don’t have a massive team, just a couple of us who know our way around a toolbox. The shop is filled with the smell of rubber and new metal, which is a smell I’ve grown to like over the years. We have a lot of random items hanging from hooks on the walls because it’s easier to see them that way than hiding them in boxes. Sometimes someone pulls up with a noise in their engine and they don’t know what they need, so we spend some time figuring it out together. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We don't have any fancy marketing or big flashing lights outside. It’s just a plain building with a door that stays open most of the day. We have a small bench out front where people sometimes sit and talk for a bit while they wait. It’s just a simple business on a long road, trying to make sure we have the right parts when someone finally needs them. We just take it slow and do what needs doing.
