Alishan Traders

You can find Alishan Traders at number 37 in Subhash Nagar. It is inside the Subhash Nagar Colony here in Bareilly. The area is usually quite lively with kids playing and people going about their daily business. Our shop is a bit tucked away, but the locals know where we are. We have been in this spot for several years now. We sell a variety of items that people need for their homes. It is not a massive warehouse, just a decent-sized shop that is usually packed with stock from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific item quickly, but we usually know which corner it is hiding in. I run the place with my cousin, and we take turns staying late if someone needs something urgently. Bareilly weather can be quite something, so we have a big fan that stays on all day in the summer. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our customers come because their neighbors told them about us. We like it that way. It feels more personal when you know the people coming through the door. We often sit outside on stools when it's quiet and chat with the people passing by. It is a simple life and the work keeps us on our feet. We try to keep things organized but it is a bit of a struggle sometimes. It is just a normal shop run by normal people.
