Ambica Rexine

Ambica Rexine is located over by Sardar Baug. It’s a simple shop where we deal with rexine and various other synthetic materials. We’ve been here at this same spot for quite some time now. People usually come to find us when they’re looking to fix up their old furniture or the seats in their vehicles. The shop isn't very large at all, but we try our best to keep a good variety of different rolls in stock for people to see. It can smell quite a bit like plastic and strong adhesive in here, but that's just part of the daily job for us. We spend a lot of our time measuring lengths and cutting pieces for the customers who walk in. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a website or a fancy office setup; we just work directly from the storefront every day. You’ll see us out front most days of the week, either unloading new stock from the delivery trucks or helping someone find a very specific color or texture. Sardar Baug is a well-known local landmark, so it’s usually easy for people to find where we are. We keep things pretty basic here. No corporate talk or complicated business processes to deal with. We just show the materials, cut whatever is needed, and move on to the next person. It’s a steady, honest way to spend the day. We’ve seen many neighbors come and go, but we’re still here at the same spot doing our thing.
