This college in Bardoli has a pretty long name, but most people around here just know us as the local arts and commerce spot. Patel Raman Brothers Arts And Patel Gopalbhai Ranchhodji Commerce College is located right in the heart of the town in Surat. We have students coming in from the nearby villages and the main town area to study for their degrees. It’s a bit different from a primary school because everyone is older and a bit more serious, or at least they try to be. The campus has some old trees and a lot of spots where students sit and talk between their lectures. We don't have a lot of fancy new buildings, but the ones we have are solid and have been here for years. The library is usually the quietest place, though it gets crowded during exam season. Our office staff handles all the paperwork, which there is always a lot of. We aren't trying to be some high-end private university. We are just a local college providing a place for young people to get their education in subjects like history or accounting. It’s a busy place during the week, and then it gets real quiet on the weekends. Just a normal part of life here in Bardoli for everyone involved. We just keep the doors open and the classes running year after year.
