Kamrej Double Road G 28 is the address. It’s a good spot because there are always people walking past the shop. At Patel Icecream & Juice, we don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. The mornings are mostly about fruit. We get the crates in and have to sort through the oranges and pineapples. Some are good, some are not, that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of time cleaning the juicers. They get sticky fast. Then there are the ice cream tubs to keep organized in the freezer. People come in mostly in the evenings when it cools down a bit. You get families out for a walk or guys coming back from their shifts. We just hand out the cones and the glasses. Sometimes the blender is so loud we have to shout over it to hear the orders. The sidewalk outside is always a bit crowded. G 28 is easy to find if you know Kamrej Double Road. We don't have any fancy chairs, just a couple of stools if someone wants to sit for a minute. It’s a simple life. We keep the fruit fresh and the ice cream frozen. By the time we lock up at night, we are pretty tired and our hands usually smell like citrus. It’s just what we do every day. There is no big story behind it, just a lot of chopping fruit and serving customers.
