About Neej Architect Engineer & Structural Designer – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Bardoli
You’ll find us over at Uzma Chambers, which is right in the Bhandari Wad area on the Station Main Road. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We can hear the trains and the crowds, which keeps things from feeling too quiet. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us leaning over big tables looking at structural designs and architectural drawings. We spend a lot of time with rulers, pencils, and computer programs trying to figure out how to make buildings stand up straight and look decent. The walls are covered in old sketches and some photos of projects we’ve worked on around town. It’s not a very fancy setup in Uzma Chambers. The elevator is a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs. We deal with a lot of local builders and people who want to put up a new house or fix an old one. Sometimes we have to explain why a certain wall can’t be moved, which isn't always what people want to hear. But we just tell it like it is. Engineering and design take a lot of patience. There’s always a lot of tea being drunk and a lot of debating about the best way to handle a tricky foundation or a weirdly shaped plot of land. It’s a lot of thinking and a lot of double-checking our math before anything actually gets built. We just keep our heads down and focus on the lines on the paper.
