Maruti Battery & Service Centre

Maruti Battery & Service Centre is our little shop out here in Bardoli. We mostly deal with car and bike batteries, though we take a look at other electrical stuff if someone brings it in. It’s a greasy job, and our hands are usually stained with something or other by lunchtime. We have rows of new batteries waiting for someone whose car wouldn't start in the morning. That’s usually how we meet our customers—they’re having a bad day because their vehicle is dead. We do testing to see if a battery just needs a good charge or if it’s totally finished. We also do some basic servicing, oil changes, and checking the brakes. The shop is basically a garage with tools scattered around and a heavy smell of oil and old lead. It’s not the prettiest place to look at, but we get the work done. We’ve got a bench where people can sit while they wait, but most just wander off and come back later. We don't have a receptionist; if you want to talk to someone, you just shout for one of us in the back. We try to be honest about what’s wrong with a car or bike. If it's a simple fix, we say so. We’ve been in Bardoli long enough that people trust us to not mess them around. It’s just daily labor and keeping the vehicles on the road for the local folks. We don't have fancy equipment, just what we need to get the job done right.
