Janata Hosptial Shreyas Orthocare & Physitherpy Centre

Janata Hospital is situated on Astan Road, right near the ST Depot. We share the location with Shreyas Orthocare and the Physiotherapy Centre. It is a very handy spot for a hospital because the bus depot is so close by. A lot of people coming from outside the city find it very easy to reach us. The building is older and has been around for a long time in this area. We focus on bone issues and physiotherapy for the most part. You will often see people coming in with crutches or those who need help with their exercises after a surgery. It is a busy place with people moving around all day. The rooms are plain and we use the equipment we have to help people get mobile again. Astan Road can be quite dusty and loud because of all the buses, but we are used to that. The staff here knows many of the local residents by their names. We do not use any fancy computer systems for everything, just some old notebooks and basic tools. It gets a bit cramped in the waiting area when there are many patients waiting for their physiotherapy sessions. We just keep working through the list one by one. Being near the ST Depot means we get a lot of people who just walk in after getting off a bus. We are not trying to be the biggest place, just somewhere people can get help.
