Dagai Auto Parts is located at Kamrej Char Rasta, right near the C P Nagar area. We are inside the Ram Krishna Complex, which is a place most people around here know pretty well. If you’ve spent any time driving around this part of the city, you know how busy the crossroads can get. The Ram Krishna Complex is always busy with people coming and going for all sorts of errands. Our shop is full of shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with boxes of all sizes. We have parts for all sorts of vehicles that people bring by. It’s often greasy work because we’re always checking parts or looking at what someone brought in from their engine. The counter is usually covered in catalogs and some old parts that we’re looking at to find a match. It’s not a very quiet place since the traffic from the Char Rasta is always humming in the background. We don’t use any complicated systems; we just know where things are from doing this every day for a long time. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific bolt or a particular filter, but we usually get there eventually. It’s a practical kind of place. We wear work clothes that usually end up with a few oil stains by noon. People come in, tell us what’s wrong with their car, and we see what we have in the back that might help.
