We have been based at 346 G. T. Road for quite some time now. This part of G. T. Road is always buzzing with heavy traffic and the constant sound of horns from the trucks passing through. It gets quite dusty by mid-afternoon, so we are often wiping down the counters and the glass cases. Inside the office, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and a few desks where we handle all the paperwork for the pharma products. It isn't a fancy place, just a practical one where we get things done every day. Most of the day is spent checking inventory and making sure the crates are moved to the right spots. We know the neighbors pretty well, like the guy who runs the small tea shop a few doors down. He brings us tea around 11:00 am every day without us even asking. The building is an older structure, so it has its quirks, like a front door that sticks whenever the rainy season starts. We don’t really worry about making it look like a corporate office because that’s not who we are. We just focus on keeping everything organized so we can find things when we need them quickly. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit there and wait for the generator or just talk for a bit until it comes back.
