Our Burdwan location is tucked away in the Tailamarui Para area, specifically at the house of Shyamal Kundu. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main city center, but we keep things moving at Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. from this little corner of West Bengal. The office is really just a base of operations for the work happening nearby. You’ll find a lot of files and maps spread out over the tables most mornings. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name and we usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs finishing. The building itself is simple and easy to find once you know the neighborhood. We don’t have big signs or anything flashy outside. Mostly, we are busy with the local projects, keeping an eye on the materials and the workers out on the various sites. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn't need a computer. The local tea stalls nearby are where we usually grab a quick break. It feels very much like a part of the community here. We have been in this location for some time and the neighbors are used to seeing our trucks or staff coming through. It isn’t a corporate glass tower, just a regular house used for business purposes. We just get on with it.
