Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. has been over here at 5 Ahalyabai Path in City Centre for a while now. If you know the Durgapur area, you know it gets pretty busy around here, especially with the P.O. right nearby. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a place where we get the work done. We handle a lot of the big building projects and bridge work that goes on around West Bengal and the rest of the country too. Most days, the phones are ringing and people are coming in and out with blueprints or just to check on project schedules. The weather in Burdwan can get really hot in the summer, but we keep things moving regardless of the heat outside. We've got a small team here on the ground, and we mostly focus on making sure the materials are where they need to be and the guys on the sites have what they need. It’s not always quiet, and sometimes things get a bit messy with all the paperwork, but that is just how the construction business goes. We like being in the City Centre because it’s easy for everyone to find us. Usually, there's a lot of tea being drunk throughout the day while we look over the plans for the next week. We’ve seen this part of the city change a lot over the years, and it's interesting to be part of that through the work we do. It takes a lot of coordination to keep things running, but we have a good rhythm here now.
