Shree Ram Rice Mill

Shree Ram Rice Mill is located right by Tejganj High School on the GT Road. Being near the National Highway 2 means it is never really quiet here. We are in the Nutanganj area, and there is always a flow of people and vehicles. The school bell rings a few times a day, which serves as a sort of clock for us. When the kids start heading home, we know we’re nearing the end of our shift. The mill is quite tall, and the stairs inside are steep and narrow. We have to be careful when we’re carrying parts up and down for maintenance. Because we are so close to the highway, we get a lot of soot from the trucks, so we are constantly washing down the front of the building. It’s a busy taluka to be in, and we feel the energy of the road all day long. We have a small yard that gets packed tight with bags during the peak season. It takes a lot of coordination to make sure the right trucks are getting loaded at the right time. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have the mill and the people who work here every day. It’s a practical operation in a fast-paced location. We just try to keep our machines humming and the grain moving out to where it needs to go.
