We don't really have visitors, so there’s no need for a waiting room or anything like that. It’s just a place to get the work done. The heat in Asansol can be really intense, so we have a couple of noisy coolers that help keep the temperature down while we work through the logs. There’s always a layer of dust on the windows because of all the industrial activity in the region, but that’s just how it is here. We spend our days coordinating with the transport teams and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. It’s a straightforward job in a straightforward part of the state. We’ve been at this Mohishila address for several years now. Most of us take the local bus or a cycle to get here every morning, and we know all the people in the nearby offices. It's just what we do.
