Reliance Energy Limited

Reliance Energy Limited is based out of Bn-2 in the Coke Oven Colony area of Durgapur. Being here in West Bengal, we are right in the middle of a very industrial part of town. The air always has a certain smell from the mills and the plants nearby. Our office is a simple one, nothing too fancy to look at. We’ve got some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. Durgapur is a city built on steel and power, so it makes sense for us to be here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking meters across the colony. It gets quite humid in the summer months, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. People around here just know where we are. We handle the energy logistics and try to keep things running as smooth as possible. Sometimes there are delays with the paperwork, but that’s just how it is with utility work. We’ve got a small break area where we sit and eat our tiffin. It’s a quiet group, mostly just focused on the tasks for the day. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part in the colony. It's just a regular job for us and we've been doing it a long time now.
