Purnima

Purnima is based out of Shilampur, which is a village post area in Panagarh. We fall under the Kanksa police station jurisdiction in the West Burdwan district. Being in a place like Shilampur means things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities, and we like it that way. Most of the people who come to see us are from the local villages or nearby parts of Panagarh. We have been here at this location for a while, and everyone around knows who we are. The shop is a plain building, nothing special to look at, but it serves its purpose for our daily work. We handle things as they come and try to be honest about what we can do. Some days are quiet, especially during the peak summer heat or when the monsoon rains are heavy, but we still open up every morning. West Burdwan has a lot of history and we feel like a small part of the community here. My family helps out when they can, and we treat the business like an extension of our home. You won't find any slick brochures or high-tech setups here, just a desk, some chairs, and us doing our jobs. If you are ever passing through the Panagarh area or heading towards Kanksa, you will probably see our place. It is just a regular local business trying to make a living. We usually sit outside in the evenings after we finish up for the day.
