Durgapur is an industrial town, so there is always some kind of construction or maintenance work that needs to be looked at. Our office is inside a regular building, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our computers and all our drafting tools. The room often smells like old paper and sometimes it smells like the rain when the monsoon hits this part of West-Bengal. Prel is just a small, dedicated team of engineers. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just do the technical work that needs doing. Sometimes we are out in the field at Sagarbhanga checking on building foundations or measuring distances. It is practical, everyday work. We are not looking to be the biggest firm in the country.
