Panagarh Trading Co. has been a fixture on G.T. Road for a lot of years. We are located right in the Panagarh Bazar area, which is always bustling with people and vehicles passing through Burdwan. It’s a busy place to be, and there is never a quiet moment outside our doors. The road noise from the G.T. Road is constant, but you get used to it after a while. Inside, things are a bit more organized, though we definitely have that look of a place that’s been worked in for decades. We handle a bit of everything here in the trading business. It's not a corporate setup with meetings and powerpoints. Usually, it's just us handling orders and talking to people who stop in from the bazar. Sometimes the power goes out or the dust from the road gets inside, but we just wipe off the counters and keep going. We know most of the faces around Panagarh Bazar since we’ve been here so long. Being in the Dist-Burdwan region means we see a lot of different folks coming through. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a trading company doing our thing for the people who walk through our doors. If you're driving down G.T. Road, you’ll likely see our sign. It’s nothing fancy, just says the name and lets people know we’re around. That’s plenty for us and for the people we deal with.
