Modern Construction

You can find Modern Construction over at the Officers Quarter's Pwd(Roads) Dept. inside the Aftab Club Compound. We are out in Burdwan, West Bengal, specifically in the 713101 area. Our day usually starts pretty early because construction work is better when the sun isn't at its peak yet. We deal with all sorts of building projects around here. Being near the Aftab Club Compound makes it easy for people to find where we are based. It’s a local operation and we don’t have a lot of office staff sitting around. Most of us are usually out on a site somewhere seeing how things are going. The work can be messy and loud, but that’s just how building things goes. We’ve stayed in this spot for a while now. Burdwan is a good place to work, even if the roads get a bit congested sometimes. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything. Most people just hear about us from someone else in town. We keep our equipment ready and try to stay on schedule as much as the weather allows. Rain can slow things down quite a bit in this part of West Bengal. We just take it day by day and try to get the walls up and the roofs on. It’s not a complicated life but it keeps us very busy with all the different projects we have going on right now.
