Modern Caterer

Modern Caterer has been set up on S B Gorain Road in Asansol for some time now. We are located quite close to the Asansol Chelidanga High School, which makes it easy for people to find us when they need food for their events. We mostly deal with local parties and gatherings around the 713304 area. It’s a lot of work, honestly. Cooking for a lot of people means early mornings and very late nights, but we have a rhythm down. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one where you know what you’re getting. Our kitchen stays busy most of the week. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once, but we manage to get the trays out. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with lights, just our workspace where the actual cooking happens. Most of our neighbors know us by the smells coming from the kitchen. It’s a straightforward setup. We buy the ingredients, prep everything, and make sure the food is ready when it needs to be. Being near the school means there’s always traffic and people moving about, so it feels like a lively spot to work. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next meal we have to prepare for someone’s wedding or birthday party. It’s not always glamorous but we get the job done for everyone involved.
