We operate out of an office care of Shekhar Kumar Gaddhyan. We are in the polytex business, which means we deal with a lot of synthetic materials and industrial fabrics. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s what we know. The office is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and shelves full of product samples. Shekhar handles a lot of the main decisions. We spend a lot of time on the phone with manufacturers and transport companies. Dealing with polytex requires knowing a lot about specifications and weights. It can be quite technical, but we talk about it in simple terms. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of our business comes from people we have worked with for years. Trust is important in this trade. Some days the office is a mess of papers and samples, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually hear the fan spinning. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the billing is correct. It’s a small operation and we like it that way. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to do our daily work, earn our living, and go home to our families at the end of the day.
