If you ever find yourself on Tilak Road in Raniganj, you might see our place at 148/1. It’s a busy area and the noise from the street never really stops. We are right in the middle of it all in the Burdwan district. M P Food Product is what we call ourselves, but most locals just know us as the food guys on the corner. My father started this small business years ago, and now I’m the one looking after it. The building is old and the walls could use some fresh paint, but it works for what we do. We prepare various food items that people use every day in their homes. It’s not a high-tech operation; we use simple methods and a lot of handwork. The floor is usually covered in some kind of flour or grain, and we spend a good chunk of our evening cleaning up for the next day. Raniganj is a tough place sometimes, especially with the dust from the nearby industries, but we like it here. We don't have a big website or a corporate headquarters. It’s just this one spot on Tilak Road. We get our supplies from the local markets and try to keep our prices fair for the neighbors. It’s a steady life, and we take pride in the fact that people actually use what we make in their daily meals. We just keep working hard and hope for the best for the future of the shop.
