Larsen & Toubro Limited,Ecc-Division

This is the ECC-Division office out here in Burdwan. We are basically operating out of Gopeswar Majumdar’s place at 508 Hafizullaha Berh in Bijoynagar. It’s a bit of a different setup compared to the big city offices, but it works for what we need to do in this district. Being out here in the P.O. area means things move at their own pace sometimes. We deal with the local construction stuff for Larsen & Toubro Limited and keep things moving as best as we can. It’s not a shiny corporate tower, just a regular building where we keep our files and meet up to discuss the day's work. The pin is 713101 if you’re trying to mail us something. Most of us are local or have been around West Bengal for a long time. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and find whoever is available at the desk. There’s usually a lot of site maps and ledgers laying around. It can get dusty with all the projects nearby, but that’s just part of the job. We focus on the tasks at hand without making a big fuss about it. It’s a practical workspace for the team. We just get on with the business of the division from this corner of Burdwan. It's a simple operation and we like it that way. No one here is looking for a fancy title.
