Out in the village of Raipur, near Ramgopalpur in the Galsi area, you’ll find Krishna Bhog Rice Industries. We’ve been processing rice here for quite some time. The facility is right in the middle of where the farming happens, which makes sense for what we do. It’s a loud place when the mills are running, and the smell of grain is always in the air. We deal with a lot of local farmers who bring their harvests in. It’s a lot of work coordinating the trucks and making sure the storage is handled properly. We aren't a big city company with a glass building. Our floors are concrete and our walls are thick to keep the heat out. The staff here mostly comes from Raipur or the surrounding Galsi district. We all know how important a good harvest is for everyone around here. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole night fixing them so we don't fall behind. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s an important one. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the rice, process it, and get it ready for people to eat. There are plenty of challenges with the weather and the roads, but we’ve learned how to deal with them over the years. If you visit us in Raipur, you’ll see a lot of hard work going on every day.
