K & K Minerals Private Limited is set up right on Kanksa Road. Our post office is over at Panagarh Bazar, and we are part of the Burdwan district. It’s a good location for us because the road is big enough for the transport trucks we use. We’ve been here in Burdwan for quite a while now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we handle all the mineral business. We have a small group of people who keep everything running. Most of us live within a short bike ride from the site. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look corporate. We’re usually too busy keeping track of the loads going out. The dust is just part of the job when you work with minerals, so we don't worry about it too much. We focus on being consistent and getting the day's work done without any drama. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures. We just talk to people plainly and tell them what we have available. Panagarh Bazar is where we go for lunch or to pick up supplies. It’s a busy place but it has everything we need. We like the rhythm of working here on Kanksa Road. It feels like home to us, and we plan on staying for a long time.
