We are set up at the address of Sri Avishak Nag over in Bajeprotappur, which is right on Katwa Road in Burdwan. It is a straightforward place, and we use it as our main point of contact for the cement business. We do not have a giant showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just a practical space where we handle the orders and the logistics. Burdwan is a good place for us, and being on Katwa Road makes it easy for trucks to get in and out. The office itself is pretty basic—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of ledgers. We do not see the need for anything more than that. We are just a group of people who know the cement trade and want to keep things moving smoothly. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that is just life in this line of work. We are not interested in sounding like a huge multinational. We are local, and we talk to our customers like neighbors. If there is a delay, we say so. If a shipment is ready, we let you know. It is a simple way of doing business, but it is how we have always done it here in West Bengal. We just show up and do the work. There are no fancy titles here, just people getting the job done.
