You can find Gopalpur Minerals Company out in Village Gopalpur. We are pretty close to the Gopalpur Township and the Mogma post office. It’s a dusty kind of place because of the minerals we handle. We’ve been operating here for quite some time now. It’s a lot of sorting and moving stuff around the yard. We aren't a big corporate office with air conditioning. We spend most of our time outside or in the open sheds. The work is physical and sometimes the machines give us trouble, but we get by. We have a small group of people working here, most of whom live in the village or the township nearby. It’s a familiar crowd. We don't have a glossy brochure or a mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the minerals and getting the loads ready for the trucks. Sometimes the logistics of the transport can be a real pain, especially when the weather is bad or the roads are blocked. But we've learned to deal with it over the years. It’s just part of living and working in this area. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our daily tasks and making a living. If you come by, you’ll likely see us covered in some sort of dust, but that’s just how the job is. It isn't easy, but it is what we do here in Gopalpur.
