D.T.D.C Courier & Cargo Limited

Out here in Durgapur, the D.T.D.C Courier & Cargo Limited branch is managed by Subhodeep Das. We are located at the residence of Mr. H.K. Das in the Bidhannagar area. It’s a quiet enough part of the Burdwan district in West Bengal, at least compared to the big cities. We use this space to keep things organized for the local area. Subhodeep is usually around to make sure the parcels and cargo are moving along the right routes. Durgapur is a town where everyone seems to know someone, so we try to keep things friendly and straightforward. Our office is not a corporate skyscraper. It’s a regular building where we do our work without making much of a scene. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the tracking numbers. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the weather gets a bit rough, but we just keep at it. West Bengal has its own pace, and Bidhannagar is no different. We handle the local pickups and ensure the cargo heads out to the bigger hubs. There is no mystery to what we do. It’s just about getting things from one place to another. We are just local residents who happen to run a courier point. It’s practical, it’s local, and we try to stay on top of the daily pile of work that comes through our doors.
