Barsha & Company

We are located right inside the Karunamoyee Housing Estate. Most people find us easily enough if they know Vivekananda Sarani. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. My desk sits near the window so I see everyone walking by to the market. We started Barsha & Company because there was a need for what we do in this neighborhood. It isn't a massive operation or anything like that. Just a few of us working through the daily tasks and trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with paperwork and folders, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We don’t have any fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. It’s a bit noisy when the school bus drops the kids off outside, but we’ve gotten used to the sound over the years. We keep things pretty straightforward here. No one uses big words or tries to act more important than they are. We just focus on the work that needs to be finished before the day ends. Most of our regulars are from the housing estate anyway. They know where we are if they need something. It’s been this way for a long time and we don’t see much reason to change it. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
