Our office is over in Alto Betim, which is in Bardez. We are located right near the Tata Motors showroom. It’s a good spot because it’s easy to give people directions. We’ve been here for a while, working on various projects as associates. It’s a private company, but it doesn't feel like a big corporate place. We have a few rooms with tables and computers where we do our planning and drawing. There’s always a stack of blueprints or documents somewhere. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and we all end up sitting around talking until it comes back on. We aren't the type to use big words just to sound important. If a project is difficult, we say it's difficult and then we try to find a solution. We have our coffee together in the morning and talk about what needs to be finished by the end of the week. Being near the highway means we see a lot of cars going by, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of people working and the occasional phone call. We don't have any slogans. We just show up in the morning, do the work that’s assigned to us, and go home to our families in the evening. It’s a steady way to live and work in this part of Goa. We like the local routine and the people we deal with every day.
