We are based in Goa, specifically up in Alto-Mapusa at the Saldanha Business Tower. Our office is number 304 in Block E. It’s a decent spot, away from the beach crowds but still quite busy with local trade. Sentrans Shipping Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this room for a good bit now. It’s a typical office setup with a few computers, some desks that have seen better days, and a lot of shipping documents piled up. Outside the window, you can see the rooftops of Mapusa. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the air conditioner is usually working overtime. We deal with a lot of logistics stuff, which means there’s a lot of phone calling and checking on where containers are. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps the world moving. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just sit around talking until it comes back. There’s a small tea stall downstairs where we usually grab a snack in the evening. We don’t use a lot of big words or have meetings about synergy. We just look at the manifests and try to make sure nothing gets stuck at the port. If you’re looking for us, just head to Bardez and find the tower. Most people in the building know where we are by now. It’s just us doing our bit in the shipping world from a quiet corner of Goa. It's a steady job.
